Me and my friends Tayla and Brooke. Hey Amber-Lee, hope you get better soon, we are all missing you and we really enjoyed seeing you.
Swimmer sleek, fast pulling, kicking, gliding strong, confident, motivated Water SPORT IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF OUR EVERYDAY SCHOOL LIFE.
Sport is a part of life. It can be fun or it can be hard. It prepares us for later in life when life isn't easy. We definitely need it as part of our everyday curriculum. It's fun, it gives us brainpower and it it keeps us healthy and fit.
Sport IS fun. no one that I know would deny that. Most intermediate aged students enjoy sport. Even if it is not a particularly fun game there are always to make it fun. And if you don't enjoy sport well... there are always a few. There are millions of different games involving different skills and different concepts, ball game, running games, throwing game and so much more!
It is true what everyone says. Sport literally gives us brainpower. Don't you agree that after you've been in a stuffy classroom and you go out for a run when you get back you're mind is clearer and you can think straight. It is important to get fresh air during the school day and not just in the breaks.
Do you think that if you are smart you don't have to do sport or exercise and get fit? It is still really important. To get fit you have to be motivated and motivation comes mainly from two places. School and home. To get fit you also have to put the effort in. that's why we should include it in our program. Health is so important for intermediate aged children and if we just sit in the classroom 5 days a week with no sport at school then we wouldn't be very healthy would we? No matter how healthy you eat you still have to do sport to back it up.
Don't forget, sport is as important to some people as maths is to others so we should try and respect that. That's why pukekohe intermediate school should have sport as a regular subject.
Camp was a great experience. There were so many activities and things to keep us busy. My favourite activities were water slide, flying fox and abseiling. I didn't really like the archery as I was not very good at it. The cabins and tents were awesome but I preferred the tents. In my cabin I had me Shaye, Jess, Maddie and Josie and in the tents it was the same just with out Jess. The activities were: archery, rock climbing, abseiling, blast, flying fox, hydro slide, raft making, kayaking, bridge jump, eeling, first aid and more.
Our statistics investigation group was made up of Maddie, Amber, Shaye and me. We did ours on the canteen. Our categories were always, sometimes and never with the questions: What do you buy, Why do you buy there and What do you want to see there? We presented ours in a clear folder and managed our time very well.
